Mechanical Ventilation

Mechanical ventilation is often necessary in cases of hypoxic or hypercapnic respiratory failure, shock, coma, or cardiac arrest. The mechanical ventilation course covers knowing when and how to implement invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation is one of the core competencies of the Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians.
